Time with Student Leaders

I had an unexpected invitation to speak before the national student government leaders of the Philippine Normal University (PNU) held this year in their Mindanao campus last May. I am only able to write about this now as this blog was MIA for a time 🙂

A total of 50 student leaders from PNU Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao campuses joined the event. I was tasked to talk about Stress Management as well as coping with Depression.

In my session, I drew from my Psychology background as well as from my experience as a student leader during my elementary, high school and university years. I just did not talk during my session but I also incorporated activities and interaction which the participants could enjoy and learn from — this is my usual practise when I am invited as a resource speaker.

Receiving a certificate and token after my talk.

I actually enjoyed my time with the young, brilliant student leaders of the PNU gathering. My wish is that they will continue to soar forward, doing their best in their studies not only for themselves but also for their families and for their Ultimate Creator.
